We met Emily and Rob last Saturday at the first hint of spring down in the Short North.  Our first stop was Vino 100 where they snuggled up with a couple of glasses of wine and we continued on to tour the great character of the Short North.

We’ll blame the wine…

I loved her 1920’s hat!  I think this was my favorite shot from their session…

Emily and Rob – don’t worry – we’ll only include this one on your DVD upon request : )

For Emily and Zach’s engagement session we met on OSU’s campus to get both some great architecture shots and fall color in their photos.  It’s by far one of our favorite places to shoot, but I have to admit very difficult in the fall when we have to make sure not to get too many extraneous students walking around in their photos 😉  Emily and Zach were part of another one of our weird coincidences this year.  Without referring them their friends, Shannon and Drew, also booked us for their upcoming wedding, and they realized it when talking a few months back about all of the vendors they had chosen for their weddings!  Shannon and Drew stopped into the studio with their son a few days ago for a family portrait session – keep an eye out for a sneak peek and their photos here on the blog!  And now, a preview of Emily and Zach’s engagement photos…

Laura and Elliott were our first prospective clients to stop by the new studio to meet with us back in September.  Though I don’t think it was our studio that made the good impression – all of our Ikea furniture was still in pieces around the studio.  But we’re so glad they decided to go with us for their wedding!  They were so much fun and comfortable with each other – they made our job so easy.  And get a load of their shoes!  Fabulous!

I love it when I catch someone sneaking a peek at their fiance – so cute!

We’ve been so busy with the new studio (thank you to everybody stopping in and saying hi) and have so many great shoots coming up we can’t wait to share here.  We happened to catch a beautiful summer afternoon to photograph Sarah and Dan’s engagement session.  We had so much fun with them that one location wasn’t enough!  We started down at the Arch by Nationwide and finished at sunset in Highbanks Metropark. Sarah and Dan made every location look spectacular and Kyle and I wish we could go with them to Europe for their honeymoon just to get more amazing photos!

Their dogs met up with us at Highbanks where they stole the show.

Sarah’s a Reds fan. Dan’s a Cubs fan. This is one year Sarah wins.
